  • CLASSY DIRTY...

    Thursday, Oct 16, 2008 2:19PM / Standard Entry

As part of the launch event for the upcoming GalleriFOUR magazine, we're currently looking for contributions and submissions for a special exhibition themed CLASSY DIRTY.

The exhibition is being designed in collaboration with Belvedere Vodka – one of our supporters who has generously stepped up to help make G4 a physical reality – and includes recent works by Terry Richardson who has already interpreted the CLASSY DIRTY theme exclusively for Belvedere's breakthrough new campaign.

The brief is simple - and it goes out to all artists regardless of discipline or experience - just submit a piece of work that reflects the CLASSY DIRTY theme. It could be new work or a past peice that fits the theme. It could be anything. It is entirely open to interpretation.

The best pieces will be selected for a one-off exhibition on GalleriFOUR launch night (December 10th) and all artworks will appear in a special feature in G4 magazine.

To see more on the CLASSY DIRTY : LUXURY REBORN project, check out the AND Profile and Official Website.

And here's a couple of Terry's interpretations to help get your (creative) juices flowing.

Many thanks to Belvedere for helping us get G4 off the ground and to all of you lot for your continued faith and support for what we're doing.

    Notes to contributors:

    • Maximum resolution digital files at 300dpi should be submitted.
    • All artworks will be fully credited.
    • All artworks will only be used in the one-off exhibition and the magazine and will NOT be used commercially in any way – this is a creative project.

  • GalleriFOUR launch date confirmed (finally)

    Thursday, Oct 16, 2008 1:30PM / Standard Entry

Yes, yes - I know we're really behind on this issue. We had SKIN:INKS, then we were in and out of town, and then there was our regular day jobs, and then I moved house, and then there was a global economic implosion.. and then.. and then... anyways - no more excuses...

GalleriFOUR Launch date is now set for December 10th 2008. And as usual we'll be having some spangly and lavish star-studded launch event - so keep checking back for the latest updates.

Thanks for your patience and continued support - this will be a good one. I promise.

  • New Galleri Website

    Sunday, Aug 24, 2008 2:54PM / Standard Entry

Check out the awesome new Galleri website that just went live over at www.galleri.hk thanks to Stephen Wang, Patrick Lee and the rest of the ever-supportive Alive Not Dead crew.

The new site is loaded with new features, links to all previous artists and websites, event pictures, direct links to the blog and forums plus all the info you need to get involved or contribute. And of course you can now view all past issues with a very cunning new online PDF viewer.

Brilliant work as usual from the Alive Not Dead possee... And a special thanks to Stephen for putting up with my spectacular lack of technical knowledge and for making the new Galleri site more than I ever hoped for..

    Respect!

  • Who wants to be in GalleriFOUR?

    Tuesday, May 27, 2008 10:30AM / Standard Entry

We're putting together GalleriFOUR over here at GHQ and that means of course that we need content. And that means contributions from you lot... As usual, our definition of creativity is as broad as it is long – illustration, photography, design (we still think it's art), architecture, sculpture, fine art, rough art, fashion design, film, cooking, thoughts, musings, ramblings... whatever...

Check out the contribution info and see past issues HERE.

We're aiming for a launch in the first week of August, so stop procrastinating and send us some stuff. Go on, you know you want it...
